"Back to school, back to school, to prove to dad that I'm not a fool..."

If you’ve read my “About Me” section, you’ll know that I am an active member of a sorority. Exactly how active varies from time to time, but this week, activity is at an unusual high. That is because it is Spirit Week, a time at the beginning of each school year that the sisters have activities for an entire week so we can all reminisce about our summers and get back on track for the year. Between sorority activities, my daily internships, and all of my classes, the time period that once was the “laid-back-first-week-of-school” is no more.
Not that I mind. I get my kicks off of being busy. If I’m not busy, I feel like my universe isn’t quite balanced. Therefore, this lifestyle suits me. I enjoy the busyness and bustling of the school year so much that I opted to stay on campus this summer and work rather than return home. However, college isn’t quite the same when a huge chunk of your friends move away. I’m pretty ecstatic that everyone is back to school, I have a jam-packed schedule, and Ripon College has once again restored my life to the crazy-busy state I’ve grown so accustomed to these past two years.
